Master the Wax: How to Get Results

To make sure your first "full-size" experience is perfect, follow these three simple rules for application:

  1. Strip the Past: Wax won't stick to oil. Use a degreaser to get your chain down to the bare metal before your first application.
  2. Apply & Penetrate: Apply liberally, lay it on with love. Backpedal for 30 seconds in a cross-chain position to work the wax inside the chain. Do not wipe of excess.
  3. Let It Dry: Apply it the night before you ride.The liquid needs to evaporate, leaving behind the beautiful, hard, slippery wax coating.
